Awnings and Blinds - Types and Uses

Whether you want to sit around in your yard sipping coffee or doing yoga, or you are opening a new cafe in town, you will require blinds to protect yourself or your customers from the extreme weather or provide shade.

There are many kinds of outdoor blinds in Melbourne which have different applications based on usage.

Let us take a look at a few.
• There are many varieties of bistro blinds for outdoor cafes and parlours. If you require heat protection, the blinds wouldn’t have to be very thick. At the same time if you require protection from rain or snow, the blinds would have to be tight and thick.
• One commonly used blind domestically for heat and light control is pergola blinds. Alongside heat, they even offer resistance to rains and humidity. Therefore they are vastly preferred for climate control.

  1. That's a funny thought for me to open a cafe. I see where you are going with that example, though, since everyone could use blinds. Pergola blinds sound nice since they offer protection from the elements. Cutting down on the heat coming in my house during the day would be a big bonus. http://milesaheadblindsandawnings.com.au
